多哈转机住宿

想问一下，买的是卡塔尔的票，但是第二段实际承运是英国航空，中转时间20小时了，还可以申请免费住宿吗？

好像不能申请，但多哈机场到市区很近，酒店也不贵，20个小时够转机一日游了。
